A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to inactive addresses under the exact same domain. For example, an email message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from pals or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. The latter is due to the fact that at some point you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be redirected to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox without effort in case you have a website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet incredibly easy to use, and it will allow you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with no more than a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be shown alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each one of them you will notice a small "Catch-all" sign. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking it again will disable it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will warn you if you already have another mailbox with this feature activated or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

You will be able to create a catch-all email address with no more than a click if you have a semi-dedicated service with us and your emails are handled by our cloud web hosting platform. All the addresses that you set up using any domain name hosted in the account will be enumerated in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to activate this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the same way you will be able to disable the feature, in case you do not need it anymore. Our system will let you know if you are trying to activate a second catch-all email address for a certain domain name or in case there is activated email forwarding, but it will never change or disable any feature automatically or without your permission.
